Has curiosity ever killed the teacher?

Okay, so I've had students with out of school suspensions before. I am always *dying* to know why they've been suspended. Right now, I have two students on our of school suspensions. And again, I'm dying to know. I always worry that their unexcused absences will result in their failure and untimate dropping of French, particularly when they'll be gone for TWO WEEKS. I have to give them the work to keep up with, but they;re not to be given credit for homework.

There are a couple students whom I could just walk up to and say, "So, what'd you do?" ... but not many.

My kitty (yay! I have her back!) has a bit of a throw up problem thanks to her problem digesting cat hair ... and OMG the stains are always so gross and I hate them.

Yesterday I stopped by wal-mart for a few baby shower things, and i was going to grab a spot bot.

Wow, $120? I think not.

I thought I'd try to bissel sprays first (pet and upholstery), and if they don't work, then maybe I'll buy the bot.
